Global Environmental Forum Series
The program involves the gathering of independent Nobel and Heinz Award winning environmental scientists who are not beholden to industry to conduct a series of international environmental summits that focus on new choices for industry and energy in the century ahead. These gatherings will be initiated on a country-by-country basis, and culminate in the international web broadcasting of global environmental issues to a global public.
These diagnostic gatherings will initially provide free consultation to hosting countries, focusing on long term economic, environmental and health impacts of technological choices.
A unique feature of the intended international forum series will include direct access to policy makers, in small concentrated sessions, as opposed to environmental summits wherein hundreds of scientists address other scientists, resulting in minimal effect on environmental policies and practices.
This series will focus on trouble shooting the worst problems each country is facing, resulting in not only improved environmental and economic gain, but also increased goodwill between nations.
From 1998-2001 we successfully initiated contact and interest among high level public officials in China and Pakistan. Our team is guided by environmental scientists who specialize in policy, new technology and the mediation of science issues. Our key members have consulted with the U.S. President on environmental science policy.
Please let us know if you might be interested in contributing your time or funds for the research, coordination and multi-media required for this program. Please click here for a more detailed proposal for a series of global environmental forums.
